Fisherman Jim
Jim was fishing in heavy fog up Mooney Mooney Creek when I asked him if I could take his photo, he replied "I don’t give a shit what you do” In this part of the world you can take that as a yes. We chatted a bit about the weather and he pulled out this whopping great Flathead.

Jimmy
Jimmy is my son, he is almost 4 and has spent his life on the river. He knows about the tides, the fish and how to get off and on a boat properly. Each day we cross the river in a tinnie to The Hawkesbury River Child Care in Brooklyn. He loves it here.

Lesley
Lesley is originally from New Zealand and told me some old fishing stories from when she was a little girl. After her photoshoot she headed out fishing with her son, landed a big flathead and put dinner on the table. She loves living off the grid at Cogra Bay and runs a hotel business in Sydney from home.

Rob
Rob is a natural on the river, he lives with his wife Lesley at Cogra Bay and is very passionate about the lifestyle. He can design and build anything and makes living here look easy.

Nicholas
Nicholas is a keen sailor, his yacht 'Hot Chocolate' is a regular on the River and he recently made a visit to the boat shed after spending a few weeks living on board.

Bob
Bob has been fishing on the Hawkesbury river for over 50 years. He recently took me to a secret spot up river and landed a few big Jewies (Mulloway). Nicely done.
